World Cup 2010 at its end.

After a month of matches, the 2010 FIFA World Cup Tournament is over, with Spain claiming its first ever trophy, the Netherlands placing second, and Germany taking third place. 32 teams came to South Africa last month, and the eyes of the world were upon them as television and online viewership broke records, and in many places productivity dropped sharply when matches were being played. Collected here are photos from the second half of the tournament, the action on the fields, and the reactions of those following the games in both South Africa and their home countries, as we bid farewell to the 2010 World Cup.

Eliminate Your Ex From The Internet :)

Breaking up is hard to do, especially in the age of the internet. How can you really avoid her when there's Facebook, Twitter and all the rest of it? With the new Ex-Blocker plugin, that's how.

The Ex-Blocker is a plugin for Firefox and Chrome that literally filters your ex out of the internet for you. Simply feed it their first and last names, their Twitter username, their Facebook profile info and their blog URL, and it takes care of the rest. Sure, photos can slip through the cracks, I'm sure. And you'll have to set up an email filter yourself if you want to cut off contact completely.

But this might just stop you from seeing that picture of the one person who used to love you that would remind you that your time with them was the best days of your life that you will never, ever get back because you are stupid and selfish and fucked up badly in a way that is completely irreparable. And that would be, like, a total downer.

Very helpful :)

I'll be missing you

It’s been a while since we were together, but to me it seems like years. When we’re not together, time seems to run slower, but not for my tears, they run faster, and take longer time.

To be honest, ever since you told me the word forever, I could never imagine how my life would be without you. But now that I’m living my life without you around, my life sucks. I loved my life more when you were around. I’m simply missing you.

I’ll still live the coming days to the highest. 21months being with you, is the greatest gift that’s ever been given to me, I’m neither lying nor joking. Being with you again is my biggest dream.

Every night I sleep, you’re the only one I think about, the only one I want to dream of. Everywhere I go, there’s always sign of you. Every time you’re not around, world seems to stop.

When I thought forever didn’t exist anymore, you passed, came into my life, and showed me that forever was still alive, it still existed. But then you left me, left me wanting you. You know how hard is that for me? You know how long it’s been taking me to forget all the sweet memories we’ve shared together?

I miss you... I really miss you..

You’ve always been my other half, my Homer, my sweet thoughts, my paradise, my simply everything.
